Mumbai, June 15 (CommoditiesControl) – North Gujarat's peanut market experienced a surge in arrivals today, with a record-breaking 1 lakh bags flooding the mandi. Despite the increased supply, prices remained stable due to high demand.

Gondal saw 14,550 bags traded, with average quality priced at Rs 1181-1311 per 20 kg and best quality at Rs 1206-1391 per 20 kg. New peanut arrivals totaled 1,300 bags, priced at Rs 1171-1331 per 20 kg. Rajkot traded 12,000 bags of pending goods, with average quality at Rs 1100-1250 and best quality at Rs 1100-1275 per 20 kg.

In North Gujarat, Himmatnagar mandi saw 3,000 bags traded at Rs 1240-1570. The record arrivals in North Gujarat indicate a strong peanut harvest, while stable prices suggest sustained demand. Market dynamics in Saurashtra are influenced by pending goods, with new arrivals commanding competitive prices. The varied prices across different mandis reflect quality variations and localized supply-demand dynamics. Overall, the peanut market in Gujarat remains active, with both farmers and traders navigating a landscape of abundant supply and steady demand.
