Jaipur, 4 July (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard seed market saw weak demand and supply on Thursday. Prices of mustard seed and oil were down in Jaipur but steady tone was observed in Delhi and Haryana. As per the trade sources, farmers are liquidating their stocks in limited quantities to meet per their financial needs only.
On the other side, demand was also weak at higher level.
Mustard seed prices were Rs 50 down at Rs 6100-6125 per quintal (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices were Rs 5 down at Rs 1166-1167 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also dropped Rs 5 to 1176-1177 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices were quoted flat at Rs 2700-2705 per quintal in Jaipur.
Prices of mustard seed were flat at Rs 6000-6050 per quintal and mustard oil expeller prices also stayed steady at Rs 1170 per 10kg.
Prices of mustard seed were flat Rs 5975-6025 per quintal and mustard oil expeller was unchanged at Rs 1160 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices were also stayed steady at Rs 2685 per quintal.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 3.5lakh bags across the country, down 50,000 bags from the last session.
Arrivals of mustard seed were around 2.15 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 25,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 35,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 15,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 15,000 bags in Gujarat. The major markets of states received around 45,000 bags of mustard seed.

At Kandla port, CPO prices gained Rs 5 to Rs 873 per 10kg and RBD palmolein prices gained Rs 5 to Rs 920 per 10 kg. Soyoil refine prices were quoted Rs 10 higher at Rs 960 per 10 kg. Degum prices were quoted flat at Rs 880 per 10 kg. Sunflower refine oil traded flat at Rs 970 per 10 kg.
