Jaipur, 25 April (Commoditiescontrol) : Mustard seed, oil and cake prices were quoted lower on Thursday amid weak demand. The processors and the stockiest were seen reluctant to increase their stock position at higher level.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned rose Rs 25 to Rs 5,375-5400 per quintal (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices dropped Rs 12 to Rs 995-996 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also dropped Rs 12 to 1005-1006 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices fell Rs 5 to Rs 2515-2520 per quintal in Jaipur.
Prices of mustard seed were down by Rs 50 to Rs 5150-5200 per quintal in the markets of Delhi. Mustard oil expellered traded Rs 10 down at Rs 985 per 10 kg in the markets of national capital. In the markets of Charkhi Dadri, prices of mustard seed fell Rs 50 to Rs 5125-5175 per quintal. Mustard oil expeller Rs 7 down at Rs 975 per 10kg and mustard cake prices fell Rs 5 to Rs 2465 per quintal in Charkhi Dadri.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 7.25 lakh bags across the country, up 25,000 bags from the last session. Arrivals of mustard seed were around 4.25 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 65,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 75,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 40,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 25,000 bags in Gujarat. The major markets of states received around 95,000 bags of mustard seed.
At Kandla port, CPO prices were quoted Rs 5 down at Rs 883 per 10kg and RBD palmolein prices fell Rs 15 to Rs 910 per 10 kg. Soyoil refine prices rose Rs 10 to Rs 915 per 10 kg. Degum prices were quoted Rs 10 down at Rs 840 per 10 kg. Sunflower refine oil prices were steady at Rs 925 per 10 kg.
